Our Beliefs

Our Mission Statement

The Grace Temple Apostolic Faith Church is also a part of the PCAFI organization which supports the continuation of the great revival that began in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost in AD 33. This church has its foundation in the doctrine of the apostles prophets and Jesus Christ Himself as the chief cornerstone of our faith as well.

  • We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God.
  • We believe in the Oneness of God and the three manifestations of the one God, which are Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe the name by which God is known is Lord Jesus Christ.
  • We believe in the virgin birth, death, burial, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.
  • We believe in the baptism in water in the name of Jesus according to Acts 2:38, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4. This constitutes the new birth spoken of by the Lord Jesus Christ in John 3:5.
  • We believe in living a holy, consecrated, and sanctified life.
  • We believe in the translation of the saints, commonly known as the rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17)

Our Values More In Depth

Salvation

We believe that to become a Christian, one must allow Christ to come into their life. This is done by following the Word of God. Being born again is a very simple process, but a process that has to be carried our God's way. No man can save himself, but one must come to Jesus Christ to be saved. (John 3:1-5)

It is the aim of Grace Temple to glorify our savior Jesus Christ who alone gave his life upon the cross that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify unto Himself a peculiar people zealous for good works.

The Lord Jesus desires that we should show forth his praises since it was He that called us out of darkness into His marvelous light of salvation.

Our Lord requires and expects that we would be blameless in the son of God without rebuke in the midst of a perverse society.

Baptism

We believe baptism involves being baptized in the name of Jesus. (Acts 2:38 & 39) This is the new birth that Jesus talks about in John 3:5.

The Person of Christ

We believe that Jesus is not only God but was born fully human. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit to a virgin woman. He willingly was subject to our human conditions (Galatians 4:4). He had a physical body consisting of spirit, soul, and body, which gave to Him a true humanity. But even with his humanity, Jesus was fully God.
